Which perks and attachments with which guns?

I'm on level 28 (not prestiged) in Black Ops and I just wanted to know which perks and attachments go best with which guns. Also, I'm using the FAMAS with the red dot sight and a silencer and Second Chance, Warlord, and Scavenger. Is that a good option? And finally, does red camo really make the FAMAS more powerful. Please answer all questions if possible. Thanks!
