If I restore my laptop, will it fix this?

Well I downloaded win-zip a while back for sims 3 custom content, long story short it screwed up my laptop. Now whenever I try and download something after I download it it will say "Application not found". I have already restored my laptop before and that was about 6 months ago, after I downloaded the win-zip. But if I restore will I lose all my music,pictures, and games on my laptop?
